Build Story – I bought this Dec ’15 because I had some internship money I was sitting on after years of working and waiting, and winter was the best time to buy in Cleveland, my former home. I randomly found my car on craigslist absurdly cheap, test drove it, immediately fell in love when it spooled, and bought it the next day. I had not changed oil before purchasing it, but I have done every bit of maintenance and upgrade work since purchasing. The main intent of the car for the first year was a fun daily, which I accomplished through replacing everything I could easily get my hands on that might wear out, and since then the goal has been to have a competent drift/autocross/loud daily driver build with high quality parts, all in a period-correct 80s style. Future plans involve more boost on the otherwise stock 7MGTE and continuing to refine the handling.
