Terms of Use
Last updated 29 October 2026
The short version
- StanceView measures posture photos. It does not diagnose or treat anyone.
- Your studio controls its client information. We look after it for you.
- You must have your clients' consent before you photograph or assess them.
- Keep your sign-in to yourself.
About these terms
StanceView is operated by PS Blue Pty Ltd, ABN 11 114 756 133. These terms apply when a Pilates studio ("the studio") and its staff use StanceView ("we", "us"). By using StanceView, you agree to them. If you use StanceView for a studio, you confirm that you can accept these terms for that studio.
What StanceView is
StanceView helps instructors assess posture. It finds stickers on photos and measures angles and distances. It records movement tests, notes and intake questionnaires, and makes client reports.
StanceView is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Measurements come from photos and have limits. The app shows how much each photo can be trusted, but it can still be wrong. The instructor is responsible for what they tell a client and for any exercise they give. If a client may have a medical problem, refer them to a health professional.
Accounts
- Each staff member uses their own sign-in. Do not share sign-ins.
- The studio's owner decides who joins the studio and who leaves. When someone leaves, remove them from the studio.
- If a shared tablet is used, turn on the PIN.
- Tell us at once if you think someone has used an account without permission.
Your clients and their information
- The studio controls the information it puts into StanceView, subject to its clients' privacy rights and the law. We use it only to provide the service, as our Privacy Policy explains.
- The studio must tell its clients how their information is used and get their consent, including for photos and health information.
- Only photograph clients who have agreed. Do not upload photos of children unless a parent or guardian has agreed.
- The studio must follow the privacy laws that apply to it.
Using StanceView properly
Do not:
- try to get into another studio's information;
- upload anything unlawful or anything you have no right to upload;
- try to break, overload or copy the app;
- use StanceView to send email that clients did not expect, such as advertising.
Connected email
If the studio connects its Google or Microsoft email account, StanceView sends emails from it only when a staff member asks, for example a questionnaire link. The studio is responsible for the emails sent from its account. The studio can disconnect at any time.
Fees
StanceView is priced per studio location. Fees, if any, are agreed with each studio in writing before they start. During early access, we will tell you before any fee applies.
Availability and changes
We work to keep StanceView running and your information safe. We cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve or change features. If a change removes something important, we will tell studios before it happens.
Ending use
A studio can stop using StanceView at any time by emailing us. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms. After a studio stops, we delete its information within 90 days, unless the law requires us to keep it. Before that, the studio can ask us for help keeping copies of its reports.
Liability
Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, or for decisions made using StanceView's measurements. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees the studio paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
